This classic thread box & tap lets you produce both screws and nuts in wood.so you can incorporate wooden fastening and tightening hardware into jigs, tools & toys. Operation is simplicity itself. Slip the thread box on the end, and begin rotating clockwise to cut crisp, sharp threads. If the wood you're using tends to tear, a thorough wipe with mineral oil will solve that problem. Matching tap come with an adjustable steel handle for easy tapping. Tap & die cutter are easily resharpened when needed
